The Mind Museum

I'm lucky I love my job...well, most days I do. I'm an interior designer working for an architect whose work I really admire. It's definitely not a nine to five kind of job like most people think. I dream my job, breathe my job, sleep my job, work in the shower, work while I eat, sometimes I'm even working when I'm in a conversation with someone else and I'm supposed to be listening. My job consumes me because I love it, the creativity never stops or begins, it flows whenever and wherever.

Right now, this is my biggest project, the Mind Museum. It's going to be the first science museum in the Philippines due to be built in 2010. The exterior was designed by a colleague of mine and I am working on the exhibits and interiors with a team. Our goal is to create educational facilities and exhibits that excite children visually and interactively. We don't claim to be science experts, so we work with scientists and specialists to understand the content and to come up with a solution that integrates smart design and aesthetics with the scientific facts and content.
