On New year's day, we all took our time in the morning to wake up, greeting the new year lazily. After getting dressed, we went to Country Club to have lunch by the poolside. With the sun out, it was the perfect weather to laze about. We doze in and out as we laid back on our seats partly under the shade of the white tent and partly under the heat of the sun. My dad kicked back with his newspaper, while the three of us stared sleepily at the kids playing diving into the pool and people wandering about.
